The VFW Post 406 Raffle of a week-long stay at a luxury Loon Mountain Riverwalk Condo was a resounding success for the Post. Following a busy morning of Memorial Day activities of Strewing of Flowers and City Hall Memorial Day ceremony, the Post members convened at the Elks for the raffle drawing. Thanks to the generosity of the condo owners (Newport Elks members), the Post was able to raise a substantial amount of money which will be used to support veterans in the local community. We hope to be able to continue this mutually beneficial relationship with the donors in the future! Below are some pictures of the fun Memorial Day event.
