Cemetery Flag/Wreath Recovery Postponed to Feb 8

Due to overnight rain today, we will postpone flag/wreath recovery until Feb 8th at 0900. If flags are collected when they are wet, they cannot be stored with damage/mold ensuing.

On Thursday January 30, 2025, at 1830, the Newport Elks Lodge 104 will hold a ceremony to dedicate their POW/MIA table. All members of VFW Post 406 are encouraged to attend, whether they are Elks or not. The Elks Veterans Committee is the lead on this Elks ceremony, but VFW members will surely be involved….
