The Artillery Company of Newport marked it’s 284th birthday with a celebration at its Clarke Street armory on March 29, 2025. VFW Post 406’s own William Farrell is the unit’s commander. Other members are Dr. Murray Norcross and BG Peter Zwack who were part of the celebration. Congressman Gabe Amo was the guest speaker and also presented a citation to COL Farrell.
