On Saturday, February 11th, 2023 the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of Rhode Island is hosting the “Military and Veteran’s Family Valentine Day Gala” at the Wyndham Newport Hotel, (the same location as the Rhode Island Veteran Empowerment Day, being held earlier in the day).
This is a formal event, with a cocktail hour beginning at 1800, and dinner to follow at 1900. This is a Valentine’s Day Gala, so following the dinner program, there will be dancing until 2200. This is truly an event for all of us to gather and celebrate military, Veterans, and their families in a fun social event.
Dress for the evening is formal/suit, or your applicable uniform with mini medals.
Tickets for attendees and their guests are on a tiered schedule:
Enlisted (current and former) – $25.00 / ticket
Officers (current and former) – $45.00/ticket
Civilians – $45.00/ticket.
