A collaborative effort between the Newport Elks and Newport’s VFW Post 406 enabled the Martin Luther King Community Center to continue the fine mission of helping our community members in need. On Saturday, October 24th VFW Members and Elks members collected food donations via a drive through drop off at the Elks home on Bellevue Avenue. The King Center was impressed with the amount of food we were able to donate to them.
