VFW Post 406 is located in Newport, Rhode Island, and is one of the oldest posts in the country. We were formed shortly after the end of World War I. Our members consist of retired military, actively serving military and veterans on the staff of the Naval War College.
The Post meets the second Tuesday of every month at 17:00 hours at the Newport Elks Lodge 104, at the corner of Bellevue Avenue and Pelham Street.
