In lieu of our standard monthly meeting, Post 406 members will be gathering together to enjoy Military Appreciation Night hosted by the Newport Gulls at Cardines Field, 20 America’s Cup Ave. Members are encouraged to wear your Post 406 Shirt & Hat, and bring their family.
We are meeting outside the gates at 5:30!
Prospective members are also encouraged to join us for the evening as well!
The Newport Gulls are a perennial contender in the New England Collegiate Baseball League and is filled with NCAA baseball players that are trying to make the leap to the big leagues.
Cardines Field was constructed during the glory days of baseball stadiums and was later renamed after Bernardo Cardines, a Newport native and baseball player who was killed in World War I.
